Airport Guides
Our detailed airport guides cover every terminal: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Terminal 4, and Jewel Changi Airport.
Terminals 1–4: We show you where to check in, where to clear security, where to eat, shop, and relax, plus how to move between terminals quickly using the free Skytrain (T1–T3) and shuttle links to Terminal 4.
Jewel Changi Airport: Discover the Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall (about 40 meters / seven stories high), and the Forest Valley, a huge indoor garden with thousands of trees and plants. Jewel connects directly to Terminals 1, 2, and 3 and is part lifestyle mall, part nature park, and part attraction.
In short: Our guides help you navigate the airport like a local, whether you’re arriving, departing, or just here on a layover.
Airport Facilities
Changi Airport is famous for turning a layover into an experience. It offers:
Free Wi-Fi, rest zones, play areas, themed gardens, art zones, cinema screens, and interactive entertainment across the terminals.
The Aerotel Transit Hotel in Terminal 1, which even has an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi you can access during transit one of the few airports in the world with that kind of comfort.
Luxury shopping, global dining, wellness services, lounges, and even slides, canopy walks, and viewing decks for plane-spotting.
We show you where to rest, where to shower, where to eat at any hour, and how to book lounges or day-use rooms without leaving the secure transit area.
Passenger Information
Our passenger info section explains everything you need before and after landing:
Transit & connections: How to transfer between flights inside the secure area, how much time you should allow, and how to move between terminals using the free Skytrain (T1–T3 operate frequent Skytrain service, and Terminal 4 is linked via shuttle). Immigration & entry: Key information for international arrivals, including automated biometric border gates that speed up passport control and make clearance faster for eligible travelers.
Baggage services: Where to report delayed luggage or store bags while you explore Jewel or visit downtown Singapore between flights.
Layover ideas: We highlight attractions inside the airport so you can enjoy gardens, waterfalls, shopping, and dining without even leaving Changi.
This section is designed for first-time visitors, frequent flyers, and long-haul transit passengers.
Transport
We show you exactly how to get from Changi Airport to Singapore city and back, 24/7:
Taxi / Private Car: Official taxis are available at every terminal (T1, T2, T3, T4). The ride to central Singapore normally takes around 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic, and typical fares are around S$25–S$45 plus standard airport surcharge.
MRT (Train): Changi Airport MRT Station (station code CG2) directly connects to Terminals 2 and 3. From there you can reach downtown Singapore via the East–West Line and connecting lines in roughly 30–35 minutes for just a few Singapore dollars.
Inter-terminal transport: A free Skytrain links Terminals 1, 2, and 3 in both public and transit areas (typical transfer time only a few minutes). Terminal 4 is reached by a dedicated shuttle service.
Airport transfer concierge: You can arrange a pre-booked car or minivan at any hour through Changi’s Ground Transport Concierge counters.
We cover routes, typical journey times, and the most convenient option if you’re traveling with family, lots of luggage, or arriving late at night.
